The 1950s was a time of renewal for the US with a focus on growth and prosperity rather than war. People became more social (cocktail parties, women’s clubs, pinochle parties, home extension meetings) and the country was unified around space exploration and the lead up to the Space Race.  Come explore the 1950s with us! 

Join us for a presentation on clothing of the 1950s, learn about the fashions, and enjoy the sights and feels of historical clothing. You can also enjoy our summer social and take home some recipes and book recommendations. 

Historical clothing, or costumes, are welcome. Photo ops will be abundant.
