Due to several unforeseen circumstances, tonight’s Laser Cutting Class will now be on lino-cutting

City of Las Cruces is excited to partner with Cruces Creatives as part of a Creative Industries grant. This class will introduce the basics of digital manipulation and design as it relates to using the GlowForge laser cutter/engraver. Students will have the opportunity to produce their own small item (key chain, backpack charm, etc.) as they learn how to scale, etch and cut.

Emphasis will be on students being able to navigate the digital functions so they will be able to return to the library to create their own pieces independently.

All supplies will be provided. 

While this class assumes an adult audience, youth 11 years and older may participate with their guardian.
