Ask A.L.I.C.E: Layered Resin Painting with Cruces Creatives

Monday, March 1811:00 AM—1:00 PMCraft RoomThomas Branigan Memorial Library200 E. Picacho Ave., Las Cruces, NM, 88001

City of Las Cruces is excited to partner with Cruces Creatives as part of a Creative Industries grant. Participants will have the opportunity to create small three-dimensional paintings
using a combination of resin and acrylic paint, allowing them to express their
creativity through their chosen subject matter.
This art process uses UV curing resin applied in shallow layers that are painted
for a gradual build of color which creates the illusion of a highly dimensional piece.
This is an excellent class to get a taste for this process. You may find you can't
get enough!

While this class assumes an adult audience, youth 14 and above may also
participate with their guardian.

Ask ALICE: Art Smarter, Not Harder initiative is made possible through generous grant funding from the New Mexico Creative Industries Department. Spearheaded by the City of Las Cruces Quality of Life Department and Economic Development Department, this program is a testament to our shared commitment to fostering artistic growth and innovation in the community.
