Ask A.L.I.C.E.: Making Fine Art Pins with Cruces Creatives

Thursday, March 215:30—7:30 PMKivaThomas Branigan Memorial Library200 E. Picacho Ave., Las Cruces, NM, 88001

City of Las Cruces is excited to partner with Cruces Creatives as part of a Creative Industries grant. Sometimes theres just nothing as satisfying as wearing your own art right where people
can see it everyday.
Participants will get to consider both color and composition as they use a variety of media
to create their own mini-art pieces.
Upon the completion of the art work, participants will learn how simple it is to use the
button presses and will be able to mount their work on the pin bases.
Whether a novice or a serious artist, come experiment with this method of creating
saleable art.

While this class assumes an adult audience, youth 15 years old and up may also
participate with their guardian.

Ask ALICE: Art Smarter, Not Harder initiative is made possible through generous grant funding from the New Mexico Creative Industries Department. Spearheaded by the City of Las Cruces Quality of Life Department and Economic Development Department, this program is a testament to our shared commitment to fostering artistic growth and innovation in the community.
