The Banned Book Club meets the last Thursday of the month at 12:30.

Bret Easton Ellis’American Psycho is a violent black comedy about a wealthy New Yorker leading a double life as a serial killer. 

One of the most controversial and talked-about novels of all time, this cult classic about the darkest side of human nature feels no less shocking and relevant a quarter of a century later.

Shortly after publication, Simon & Schuster dropped the novel citing 'error of judgement'. The Australian government restricts its sale to adults over age 18.
