The Banned Books Club meets the last Thursday of the month from 12:30 to 1:30. The discussion centers around a specific banned book each month. The selection for the month of March is Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov. Lolita inspires debates about the uncomfortable reality of the sexualization of little girls and women.
Physical copies can be checked out on a first come first served basis at the reference desk and will be available March 1st. You can access e-reader and audiobook copies through the libraries Libby and Hoopla apps. Call the reference desk for assistance 575-528-4005.
