Latiné-X Lit is a new book club and supportive space to celebrate Latiné literature together. The book club takes place the third Wednesday of the month at noon. The book club selection for the month of February is “Love in the Time of Cholera”.

In preparation for the book club discussion, we will be screening the film Love in the Time of Cholera in English on Monday, February 10th 2:00 pm in the Staff Conference Room at Thomas Branigan Memorial Library.

Books will be available at the screening for checkout or by accessing it as an e-book or audiobook on Libby and Hoopla apps.

Synopsis: A jilted Colombian man develops a lifelong passion for one beautiful woman, who was forced to marry a wealthy doctor by her class-conscious father. Based on the Gabriel García Márquez classic novel.
