Thomas Branigan Memorial Library presents: Make a Scene, a two-day workshop visualizing and translating onto canvas a scene from a predetermined book. Canvasses and painting supplies will be provided. In April, we will be painting from Delia Owens “Where the Crawdads Sing”. There will be a reading of the scene and text provided for individuals to reference. The goal is to put what the reader visualizes on canvas and then share other interpretations as well. All levels of artistic ability are encouraged to attend. No judgement just fun and transferring imagination to canvas. This will be held at Munson Senior Center 975 S. Mesquite on April 12th and 13th, 2:30 pm- 4:30 pm. Please wear clothes you do not mind getting paint on or provide your own smock.
