June is National Ocean Month, and the start of our Summer Reading Program "Adventure Begins at Your Library." In honor of these two events, we present you our Ocean Adventures Movie Marathon. 

10:30 am - Jaws (1975), rated PG, run time 124 min - An enormous great white shark terrorizes a summer resort town, where a police chief, a grizzled fisherman and an intrepid marine biologist realize they're "gonna need a bigger boat" to battle the bloodthirsty beast. An Oscar winner for sound, editing and John Williams' score.

12:45 - The Abyss (1989), rated PG-13, run time 138 min - Deep-sea rescue divers are plagued by a mysterious force while probing a nuclear submarine crash. Meanwhile, the crew suspect the accident was caused by an extraterrestrial craft, and that they may be participating in an encounter with an alien species.

3:15 - Underwater (2019), rated PG-13, run time 95 min - An underwater research team is highly involved in a drilling operation to look for oil at the bottom of the Mariana Trench. As an earthquake destroys their laboratory in the depths of the ocean, the team must now work together on a plan to insure their safety. However, the crew soon discovers that there is something dangerous in their midst.
