The Banned Book Club meets the last Thursday of the month at 12:30. The selection for the month of February, in celebration of Black History Month, is Beloved by Toni Morrison. Beloved is a mysterious, 20-year-old woman —who appears in Sethe’s home mysteriously just as the infant ghost haunting the family disappears. The book portrays the psychological horrors, and the lingering trauma of the survivors of slavery.
